When you have a website built in WordPress, there are plugins available to help you build and automate your tribe of Ambassadors. Let me show you how…
These are people who are willing to promote your services. They trust you and they are familiar with the results you provide. Promoting your courses and programs fills them with joy, therefore it is crucial to reward them for their actions.
Ambassadors are also called Referral partners or Affiliate members. Most of them are willing to spread the word about your work because they know exactly what you deliver and the phenomenal results you provide. Often people, who co-create with other businesses, talk about their collaborations for free, however, why not reward them with a commission for recommending your services? I am showing you that this is possible to automate when you build an “Affiliate Program”. You will be able to manage and pay your “Ambassadors” whenever they share your programs with others.
Who is your tribe of powerful Ambassadors?
Your best Referral partners are those businesses that are already connected to your tribe.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- What services or products does your tribe already have? Brainstorm some possible ideas of what other businesses could already be connected with your potential audience.
- Are they already connect to specific programs, organizations or groups? Make a list and brainstorm some possible connections.
- List the interests of your community members and find out what businesses would they be interacting with?
In the video below I’m going to go through all the areas of the Affiliate Royale Plugin:
Find out how you can build a tribe of Ambassadors for your business In the video below. I’m going to show you how the plugin Affiliate Royale Plugin works and what you can do with it.
The Affiliate Royale plugin allows you to automate your affiliate system. It approves the flexibility to see who are your best affiliates and which services have been purchased. You will be able to integrate the system with your email marketing provider and therefore keep your Ambassadors informed of the next launch.
From basic setup through to how to create links and banners that your Ambassadors can use and promote.
Let’s navigate through the Affiliate Royale Plugin features and benefits…
-
Creation of three main Affiliate Pages: Dashboard Page, Signup Page and Login Page which can be customized through WordPress or generated automatically by the system. However, the latter will be very basic so my suggestion is to always add your own copywriting content to each page so that reflects your brand.
-
What choices you have in the commission types and levels. The percentage of paid commissions you want to pay your Ambassadors is totally your own preferable choice. It can vary between 10% to 80%. It depends on the value of your programs and the specific offer you have at the time of incentive.
-
Your welcome message goes in the Dashboard settings area. In here you also have a place to customize the navigational items that you want to Affiliate members to have access.
-
You can set up how you are going to pay your affiliates in the Affiliate Settings area. Normally the payment is done through a Paypal account after 30 days of client’s have purchased the product or service. In this area, you can also find the Affiliate agreement which can have a few simple rules.
-
Payment Integration area includes a list of possible Payment Integrations and instructions for others if necessary.
-
Email Notifications: From the Welcome email which is sent to each Ambassador when they signup; Sale Email will send a sale notification email to each affiliate when they’ve referred a sale and are entitled to a commission and finally send Admin Commission email so that you know when they’ve made a sale so that you can pay them.
-
NOTE: Payments are not done automatically through the system. You need to manually generate each payment to your affiliate members. Personally I think that this is better because you will have complete control of your payments and which programs/course are more popular.
-
-
International Settings where you can choose the currency code, currency symbol and format.
-
Marketing Integrations which at the moment the Affiliate Royale plugin only integrates with Aweber, GetResponse, ConvertKit and MailChimp.
-
Beyond all these settings, you will also have access to the USER MANUAL if other troubleshooting is required.
IT’S A WRAP:
Building a tribe of Ambassadors takes time and effort. Firstly, we must build a relationship with your current clients and be very transparent about our services. Once they are confident with the results you provide, it’s easier for them to start spreading the word and promoting your business. Secondly, you must provide them with all the marketing materials so that is simpler and quicker for the promotion to take place. By giving them the immediate links and optimised banners, all they need to do is to include them in their current social media posting and scheduling. Keeping it as simple as possible for your Ambassadors to promote your brand. It’s a faster strategy to increase the visibility of your programs and courses.
Awareness is fine, but Advocacy will take your business to the next level. ~ Joe Tripodi, Chief Marketing Officer – The Coca Cola Company
I’ve been using this plugin for a while and even though it’s not perfect, I believe that it’s a good plugin to start with and expand when necessary. I also like it because it integrates perfectly with my membership plugin MemberPress. The only nagging challenge is not currently connecting with my ActiveCampaign account. Oh well… we have to wait and see what other developments it entails.
I am certain that this article has helped you with how to automate and build your own Ambassador program. I would love to know in the comments if your business will benefit from implementing an Affiliate program? Have you considered this strategy for your business and if not why not?
